Williams Works Wonders With Windows
Since the Tampa Bay area's population is growing by leaps and bounds, new homes are always under construction. New home owners are overwhelmed with new home tasks-namely decorating and designing. More specifically, the one design that sets the scene for the whole room is the window treatment.
Most people will say they "don't do windows," but the Williams family, owners and operators of Williams Window Treatments, Inc. are the exception. "Window Treatments are what we are all about," said Pam Williams who does free in-home consultations. "We chose to give the business our last name, so people will know from the start to finish exactly who they are dealing with."
When customers call Williams Window Treatments, Pam's daughter, Tiffany, who is also very knowledgeable in the business, answers the phone. As Pam will tell you, the entire business is family run.
Pam and Robert have more that 22 years experience in the window treatment business. They know how to meet customers' needs and do so with professional and courteous service. "We care about our customers," Pam said. Even though their prices are competitive, Pam realizes, and others will agree, that price is not always the issue. Service is what counts. "People want service," Pam said. At her in-home consultation she finds out the customers' thoughts, as well as their likes, dislikes, decorative themes, and so forth. She helps them decide appropriate styles and colors and gives suggestions for window treatments that will fit any style and budget.
"I can visualize the product on the window," Pam said. She has an excellent eye for detail. "I know how buildings are constructed and I know how window treatments are made so they will fit into elevators, doorways, or whatever it takes.
The Williams' store opened February 1, 2003 and proudly displays a wide variety of hard and soft window treatments. Pam explained that hard treatments are blinds, shutters and the like. Soft treatments more. Anything can be custom made. "But don't let the word "custom made" scare you. We have styles to fit everyone's budget." said Pam. In addition, you will find drapery products at the store, such as Ado, seamless sheers, Carole fabrics, Kasmir and Robert Allen. "We also have matching pillows and bedspreads to go along with window treatments," said Pam. Their collection includes Fauxwoods as well, which are wide window blinds, available in all colors, stains and textures.
"We can have blinds ready in three days and shutters ready in two weeks," said Pam. "Top treatments could take two to four weeks, depending on availability of the fabric." "They are honest people," said Carlton Saunders of Palm Harbor, who had two jobs done by Williams. "Pam is very confident, professional and the company does excellent work." He also said that Williams Window Treatments are very dependable and he highly recommends them.
Williams Window Treatments currently serves residents in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties and they do commercial work throughout the state.
Store hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Saturday from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Evenings by appointment, in home or at the store. Same day appointments can be arranged.
